Process Serving

We make every effort to effectively and quickly serve our clients needs in regards to process serving. If there are any special requests or concerns, please make sure to let us know up front so we can better meet your needs.

Step One:

Best Rate PI locates the appropriate defendant or individual to be served. This can be done with information provided by our clients or via our own research.

Step Two:

Best Rate PI delivers/ serves legal documents such as, writs, summons, subpoenas, complaints and other court documents to a defendant or an individual involved in a court case. We serve the documents in accordance with the legislation in the area of service. This may mean handing the documents to the defendant personally or sub-serving to someone in the same household or business.

Step Three:

Once the documents are delivered, the process-serving agent must provide proof that the papers were served. This is done through a document call an Affidavit of Service, also called a Proof of Service, which must be notarized and given to the party who requested service.

*Best Rate PI will not perform any service without first having all aspects of a job thoroughly communicated, case assignment sheet filled out, and contract signed. Best Rate PI does not charge hours, or additional costs, without first getting verbal or written authorization to do so from client.

*Best Rate PI is determined to provide top rate customer service and guarantees its work. If you are not happy with our service, please notify us immediately, we will rework the case at no charge.

*Process services fees are to be paid up front. If any additional charges are accrued, they will be billed along with the case reports, photo/video, and invoices on Tuesday for the previous weeks work ending on Sunday.
